Mahindra is a big name in car market of India, is gearing up for the launch of its highly demanded and anticipated 5-door variant, Mahindra Thar 5-Door variant. It's extended version of the iconic Thar with 2 Doors.
Thar 5 Door is spotted during testing many times, promises a host of upgrades and fresh features including cutting-edge technology like a touchscreen infotainment system, a front armrest, a sunroof, a rear parking camera, a pillar-mounted grab handle, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and much More.

Mahindra Thar 5-Door Design and Features

The Mahindra Thar 5-Door differs from the 3-door with sleek upgrades. A refreshed grille, new LED taillights, and updated alloy wheels bring modern flair to its rugged look. There's huge anticipation for this new model, rumored to pack exciting enhancements. Inside, it's expected to offer a bunch of appealing upgrades, making everyone eager for its arrival.

Mahindra Thar 5-Door is expected to get an electric sunroof, a practical front armrest, and strategically placed cup holders on the center console, adding both comfort and convenience. Interior consist of a redesigned dashboard housing a user-friendly 10-inch touchscreen. This enhanced interface is anticipated to integrate essential features like AC vents, HVAC controls, and an array of toggle switches for added functionality. Moreover, individual armrests for the front seats, second-row AC vents, a new instrument cluster, a dashboard camera, and a single-pane sunroof are set to elevate the driving experience. Notably, the Thar 5-Door will come exclusively in a hard-top variant.

Mahindra Thar 5-Door Powertrain and Performance

The Mahindra Thar 5-Door is expected to come with two engine options like to its 3-door variant. Mahindra all New 5 Door will feature a 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 130 bhp and an impressive torque of 300 Nm. For those who love exciting drives, the 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine delivers an exhilarating 152 bhp and a peak torque of 320 Nm. Both engine variants are likely to be with a choice between a responsive 6-speed manual transmission and a seamless 6-speed automatic transmission, ensuring an engaging driving experience across diverse terrains.

Adding to the excitement, Mahindra recently trademarked seven intriguing names—Armada, Cult, Rex, Roxx, Savannah, Gladius, and Centurion. These names are anticipated to denote the larger 5-door body style, hinting at an exciting expansion of the Thar lineup in the near future.
