Hyundai announced the much awaited facelift of its popular model, the Hyundai i20 with starting price Rs. 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom), in the Indian market. This hatchback comes with a lot of cosmetic enhancements and new features. 

The i20 facelift is available with a 1.2-litre petrol engine, while the 1.0L turbo-petrol unit has been discontinued.

The 2023 Hyundai i20 facelift is now available in India, with prices Rs. 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This competitive pricing places it within reach of a broader audience. And the i20 facelift is offered in eight colors and five variants.

The exterior of the 2023 Hyundai i20 facelift has undergone many changes to enhance its visual design. i20 Facelift gets update include new LED headlamps and inverted L-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs). The front and rear bumpers have been reworked, providing a fresh look. The new 16-inch alloy wheels have been added to Hyundai i20 2023 . Moreover, there is a new grille and a 3D Hyundai logo on the bonnet.

Inside Hyundai i20 Facelift, now it comes with a grey and black interior theme. The cabin is equipped with a high-quality Bose-sourced seven-speaker music system, semi-leatherette seats, and a sporty flat-bottom steering wheel. Leatherette seats and door armrests further provide the interior's luxurious feel. A unique feature is the inclusion of ambient sounds of nature feature, creating a serene driving atmosphere. Safety Features include, six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, HAC, VSM, and rear parking sensors provided as standard. Additionally, the i20 offers TPMS, OTA updates, and Hyundai's renowned BlueLink connectivity.

Under the hood, the 2023 Hyundai i20 facelift offers a 1.2-liter, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine with ISG (Idle Stop and Go). This engine can be paired with either a five-speed manual transmission or an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). It delivers a respectable 82 bhp and 115 Nm of torque. Hyundai stands behind this offering with a standard warranty of three years or 1 lakh kilometers, whichever comes first.

The Indian variant of the i20 facelift closely resembles its European counterpart introduced earlier in the year. The front grille and bumper have been redesigned, and angular LED headlamps now feature integrated LED daytime running lights. At the rear, a new dual-tone bumper with a silver skid plate adds a sporty touch, complemented by newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, a dual-tone interior welcomes occupants, with a prominent touchscreen infotainment system at the center. The steering wheel adopts a sleek 4-spoke design, and a digital instrument cluster offers a contemporary touch. Entertainment is elevated with a 7-speaker Bose audio system, while ambient lighting creates a captivating atmosphere. Technological enhancements include TPMS and Hyundai's BlueLink connectivity suite, ensuring connectivity and convenience on the go.

Customers can select from five Hyundai i20 Facelift variant: Era, Magna, Sportz, Asta, and Asta(O). Color options include Amazon Grey, Atlas White, Titan Gray, Typhoon Silver, Starry Night, Fiery Red, Atlas White with a black roof, and Fiery Red with a black roof.
