Unexpected Office Romance: Andhra Pradesh Joint Collector Ties the Knot with IPS Trainee!

Andhra Pradesh Joint Collector Shocks All by Marrying IPS Trainee Right in Her Office!

The unassuming union between Collector Aparajita Singh Sinsinwar and Devendra Kumar, has captured the attention of the community.

In the heart of Andhra Pradesh's Krishna district, a remarkable state official and a united priest joined in matrimony within the auspicious confines of her office. While previous unions among the upper echelons of civil servants typically unfolded amidst opulent affairs, attended by notable figures, this particular event took a departure from convention. The discreet nuptials between Collector Aparajita Singh Sinsinwar and the once-accused Devender Kumar have now become the focal point of local discussions, as a video documenting the ceremony finds its way across social media platforms.

The exchange of garlands marked the culmination of their marital vows, witnessed by their fellow colleagues within the collectorate office. In the shared video footage, the palpable joy and camaraderie between Astrology Officer Apita Singh and Assistant Officer Devender Kumar are evident as they adorn each other with garlands. Extending their heartfelt congratulations, Krishna District Registrar P Raja Babu and the dedicated staff extended their well-wishes to the newlyweds.

Originating from Rajasthan, Devendra Kumar is presently undergoing training as an assistant at the Hyderabad Police Academy. On the other hand, Aparajita, currently on leave from her role as a Joint Collector of Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh, stands as a dedicated assistant officer.

Interestingly, this isn't the sole instance of such an occurrence within the realm of Andhra Pradesh's civil service. Just this year, a pair of economist officers hailing from the same cadre also entered into matrimony. The District Collector of Vizianagaram, Nagalakshmi Selvarajan, joined in wedlock with Naveen Kumar, the Joint Collector of Srikakulam. Their grand matrimonial celebration took place in the sacred city of Tirupati, attracting international attendees, friends, and officials from diverse affiliations. Notably, Nagalakshmi holds the position of Record Officer of the Bank since 2012, while Naveen Kumar has held the corresponding role since 2019.
